The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Charities
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Charities will be the benevolent arm of the church. It will require the continuous support of our brothers, sisters, and friends in Christ to help us reach the surplus needed to begin to fill the needs of others, locally and around the world.
Mission
As the body of Christ, we will provide love and care for one another, as well as reach abroad to all humanity to provide assistance during natural disasters, unemployment, and devastating life changing events; that we may be arms of comfort in times of need.
The Holy Scriptures doeth admonish us by saying: 1 John 3:16-18 (KJV) "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."
We are also commanded to fulfill the royal law: James 2:8 (KJV) "If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well"
